I saw Dr. Pinkhasov a few times and she was lovely. She was so attentive while I was speaking and asking questions. She also provided information in a digestible and easy to understand way. I never felt rushed when I was in appointments with her, I would definitely recommend Dr. Pinkhasov if anyone is looking for an optometrist.

When I first came to this clinic, I was very scared because I was experiencing vision problems for the first time in my life and didn't know which clinic to go to or which specialist to see. I was fortunate to come to this clinic with the most caring staff, who calmed me down and provided assistance. Wonderful doctors, very attentive medical staff, and an incredibly friendly front desk.

I love this office’s staff, the doctor, she takes her time and answers all my questions and always does a thorough exam very professionally. The receptionists are very friendly and knowledgeable. I want to give a special thank you to Liuba because she goes above and beyond to always help me with my medications or any questions I have, she is super in her job. I highly recommend this office.

I highly Recommend them! Dr Rachel Mindin is extremely knowledgeable in her field. She goes above and beyond and was able to diagnose a rare condition for me when no other doctor I’ve seen before her was. She’s super responsive and dedicates a lot of time and energy to her patients.

Love this place! Highly highly recommend LASIK at New York Laser Vision. I had LASIK done by Dr. Giyaur and couldn't be happier! Very fast and painless procedure, great results and for the good value! My vision is now 20/20 and I finally see everyone and everything! It's amazing how my life changed after LASIK surgery. Dr. Giyaur is very professional and nice, she explained everything and kindly walked me through the whole process. Her team is very friendly and made me feel very comfortable. Beautiful office! I saw Dr. Pinkhasov for my eye exam and she was amazing! She was so thorough and clearly explained the results of all the tests that were done. She answered all of my questions and was very patient With me. It's clear she really cares about my eyes and is passionate about what she does. She's great!

Dr. Julia Giyaur is one of the best! She is very knowledgeable and makes you feel very comfortable during the eye exam and is great with follow ups if needed. I absolutely love this center! All the personnel were very friendly and answered all my questions gladly. I liked how beautiful & stylish the place looks! Felt very comfortable there. I used to go to the Brooklyn location which is really far for me since l live in NJ! Very happy they have a location in NYC now, so easy to get there now. Definitely coming back as this is my happy place, where l can work on my health and always getting the results l need!

Beautiful office, kind staff, and minimal wait time. I was in and out during my lunch break. Dr Mindin was knowledgeable and I didn’t feel rushed at any point. My new prescription is perfect and I’ll definitely be back in the future.

Probably the best if not the best eye care center in NYC! All of their doctors are very knowledgeable, experienced and professional. Receptionists, medical assistants are very professional as well. The whole environment of the place is great, and they’re always willing to go the extra mile just to make their patients happy! Definitely recommend this place if you have eye problems!

I had a LASIK with her 2 years ago and am very happy with my results and 20/20 vision! The doctor is very professional, nice and I am checking my eyes with her and Dr. G every year! Staff was always helpful and kind. Beautiful office! I am very glad I found NYLV 4 years ago and would highly recommend it to anyone!!!!

I've been visiting Dr.Giyaur since 2015 and I am very happy that I found the NY Laser Vision office. Finally, I decided to do an eye surgery since I had bad vision (nearsightedness and astigmatism). On October 26th, 2017, I had a LASEK eye surgery. I was a little nervous but everything went so fast and smoothly. I had a wonderful experience during my procedure and was well taken care of. Sometimes I can't believe that I see perfectly when I wake up. I want to say a big Thank You to Dr. Giyaur for making my dream come true! She is the best eye doctor I know and very professional! Dr. Giyaur is very kind, caring, and compassionate. She cares about the needs of her patients. Also, I want to mention that the staff at the office are very helpful and friendly! My experience at New York Laser Vision has been very positive. The staff is always helpful and ready to answer any questions. I recently have had some vision problems which I thought might be cataract related. Dr. Julia Giyaur was able to see that in addition I had macular issues which were blurring my vision. Before having surgery for the macular issue I needed to have cataract surgery. Dr. Giyaur performed the surgery and it went perfectly. The follow up has been excellent. Vision improving. I highly recommend Dr. Julia Giyaur and New York Laser Vision.

Julia Giyaur is a great doctor. I've had a bunch of different problems with both eyes. When Dr. Giyaur did cataract surgeries, each of my eyes required not only a lot of tests and measurements, but also a big deal of intuition coming from her huge experience. She is knowledgeable, skillful and compassionate. What makes her different from most of the doctors is that she does not concentrate only on a particular narrow problem. Dr. Giyaur cares about one's eyes and vision all in all. I am so grateful to Dr. Giyaur! I also have only good things to say about staff in NY Laser Vision, from manager to receptionists. I have been going to Dr. Giyaur and the other optometrists for 4 years already. I have had only great experiences at this office. The front desk reminds me of my appointment and reschedules if needed. My check ups are easy and fast with no hassle. They have even emailed my prescription before when I needed it. Would definitely recommend it.

I have developed a rare disease in my eye, and had to go to the Eye, Ear Throat institute in Manhattan almost on a weekly basis, but nothing helped. After much running around and misdiagnosis, someone recommended Dr. Giyaur to me, and she quickly made the right diagnosis. After several visits, my issue is nearly resolved. She is highly knowledgeable and with great bedside manner, and her staff is very professional and courteous. I feel that I am finally in the right hands. Highly recommended!

was very happy to come here to get my glasses and I have to say that the staff was very kind and were very knowledgeable about vision. They walked me through the whole thing and didn't pressure me for any extra things. I have come here for the past 4 years and have gotten 2 different pairs of glasses. Would come here if in need of an eye doctor or just a way better eye doctor. The doctor that helped me was Dr. Julia Giyaur. She was very friendly and helped me pick my glasses and find the correct prescription for my horrible eyes. She is the best doctor I've worked with and this is the BEST EYE DOCTOR EVER!

I would highly recommend going here because the staff is really friendly and professional. The front desk is so sweet, kind, and patient. What I like about this place is that you can get your glasses fixed or buy glasses from them at reasonable prices and you can pay cash or with a credit card. Thanks to them I was able to get my glasses fixed and purchase new glasses for my mom. (They carry generic brands and high end brands). Another thing I like about this place is that they do not have a limit for the amount of kids they can take in per family. I have three siblings and at my old eye doctor they could only take in 2 children per family a day which got annoying because my mom would have to take us to the eye doctor on different dates. What I mostly like about this place is that they speak many languages. My mom mostly speaks Spanish and we were able to communicate with her well in Spanish. In addition to this the waiting room is beautiful, comfy, and high tech. I would write more about this place if I had the time, but this is long enough.

Dr. Giyaur really helped me. She is very knowledgeable about the latest developments in her field and has the latest equipment for diagnostics. Other doctors who work here are all great. Dr. Rachel Mindin was really helpful to me as well. I also get my glasses here, which is pretty convenient.

Best Eye Doctor I have ever been to. Ever since I was a little girl, I’ve always hated the eye doctor and frankly, anything that comes along with it including eye drops and vision screenings. But when my cousin told me about her experiences here, and with Doctor Julia Giyaur, my views totally changed. The staff was extremely friendly and sociable and accommodating to my fears while still being encouraging. The facility is clean and accuracy is unbeatable. In the past I could never find good glasses, but luckily Dr. Giyaur changed that for me with her kindness and vast background. Unlike other eye doctors I’ve been to and dreaded, the process was stress-free and blissful with Julia Giyaur by my side. I 10/10 recommend this eye doctor for anyone who ever needs to be seen!
